Hi may name is Jewels, and I am going to tell you the sotry of my two puppies Sassy and Lady. We first got them when I was 7. We got them in a parking lot, some people were selling lab puppies and we had just lost our other dog Toby a year ago and needed another dog. Well so we checked the puppies out and Sassy and Lady just caught our eyes. They were the cutest of them all. We wanted just one but decided we had to get both, so we did. Sassy was the baby of the two and lady just was the more bossy. Sassy always wanted to play with Lady but Lady just wasnt interested. Day by day and night by night we Lady and Sassy filled our lives with joy. They were are best friends. On January 23, the day after my birthday, Lady got very sick, and died from kidney failure. She was 11 years old and was the just so sick. We sadly put her to sleep, brought her home and buried her by two trees on our 5 acre lot. Sassy seemed to take it the easiest then any of us. Sassy lived with us til October when we found out she had lympnode cancer and kidney failure. The vet said that she might pull through but it wasnt a sure thing that you would. Sassy developed a awful cough and hardly could walk. It was time to let our last little baby go. We took her to the vet and finally ended her suffering. We had her brought home and laid to rest with Lady. Now today we come home to an empty house. We will get another dog I hope, but for now we hold just the memories that Sassy and Lady left behind. For now they are both together again. As for we all will someday be.
