My darling Oscar, Oh you went so fast
But I know that you aren't hurting, you are at peace at last
The days we had together I will cherish in my heart
It was just all so quickly that you had to part
I think of you quiet often and can see your little face
I think about your little trot, that was the best
That is one of the little things that seperated you from the rest
I know that Sugar misses you too
She seems so lost, just don't know what to do
I know she is waiting for you to come back home
She stays so quiet and seems so alone
We all miss you very much, that is plain to see
But we all know we have to except what God wanted to be
I knew the day would come when I had to say Good-bye
There was nothing I could do for you no matter how I'd try
I kissed your face as you were leaving me
The tears were coming so fast I could hardly see
I held you as you went to a better place
The tears just came rolling down on my face
We brought you home and buried you next to Missy Girl
You both were two of the finest dogs in the whole world
I think of you so often and wish that you were still here
But I know that you aren't far away, you are still near
I thought I heard your footsteps just the other day
I talked to you for awhile and then you went away
I hope that you are having fun where ever you might be
I only wish that I could close my eyes and see
I'll love you my darling Oscar until the day I'm gone
And I will be with you and you won't be alone
Until the day I see you again I will keep you in my heart
And will never forget that dreadful day when we had to part
