To Bandit, at Easter
by Amy Wechsler
My dear Bandit, Like everyday, I think about you and see you in my mind and dreams and hear your inquizative meow...It's been two years since we lost you and it doesn't seem to get any easier. Through the Grace of our Lord and support from many, my saddness will give way to the happiness that you brought me and Daddy. Dusty Cat has gotten so big and healthy - far cry from the little bag of furry bones that came to us last year. We bought him an easter basket complete with a catnip bunny - we still have your basket which we brought out and sprinked Kitty Stew in it. We miss you so much... Easter is so important to us since it reminds us of the gift that God has given us through His son - and it gives us the hope that you will be waiting for us at the Bridge - in Heaven. I hold on to that truth and it makes me happy. Oh Bandit, why is this so hard....my tears still come down when I think of you - Happy Easter, my kitten - Mommy and Daddy love you. Have a great time, sleep good, and don't eat too much! "I thank God whenever I remember you" Phillipians 1:3
