Tessa Bear
by Ally Wilson
When we got her, She wasn't a baby, But a 2 year old dog, Who we saved from a life of abuse. She was still jumpy and scared, Mommy said "Dont pick her up" But i couldn't help it, I loved that pup. She was sleeping and I had the urge, So I wrapped my arms around her and began to lift. She turned 'round quickly and bit my face, But I didnt hate her for it. When we first got her, She liked to play and run and this and that, But gradually she got lazy and fat. It was okay though, She was happy and so were we, And so it was that we all lived in harmony. She loved riding in the car, No matter where we went, If it was near our house, Or way out far. I remember my Dog of 7 years, And never shall I forget, I long to see her, But that's something I can't get. She's now gone, But I'm sure I can feel her, Even though she left me, We still share that special bond. And now it seems That there's holes in the floors of heaven, and she's watching over me. To: Tessa Bear (Tesla) who I will never forget and will love forever
