One stary night I had wished upon a star. I wished that the LORD would send me a kitten. I had doubts. It never happened before so why should it happen now, I thought. I shuffled to the front yard. Snow was still left. Thirty minutes later, I saw a shadow, or so I thought. The shadow got closer. I made out a tail, two glowing eyes, and a short, skinny body. I gasped! I held out my hand and meowed my best meow. It ran under the truck. I meowed aain. The shadow came out to me. I lifted it up and realized it was a cat. I yelled" I found it" to my brother. I held him in my arms and petted him for 1 hour. I ran into the living room and grabbed some of our other cat's food. I fed him and ran back inside. I warmed up some CATMILK for him. I wished 2 more times. My first wish was that our dad would let us keep him. My second wish was that he would stay with us. Both those wishes had come true. We kept him for 6 months. We never knew what happened to him. I miss him!
