It's been almost 2 years now since I had to put down my big girl "Honey".A collie-mix rescued from an animal shelter almost 13 years ago.The tumor that claimed her life, has not diminished her memory.We have gotton a new sheltie.....full of life, smart, passionate and eager to please.But she isn't Honey.Honey shared a part of my life that even my wife can't claim.There was a bond shared by 2 lonely life forces that met to comfort each other when no one else wanted them around.That can never be replaced.Not by man or beast.The pain has dimmed.....the memory has not.I love you sweetheart.I always will.We will be together again, I have no doubt of that.I will think of you often, cry a bit, and move on.---mike
