lady and little bit
by tamara griswold
When I lost my shepard Lady I had to put her down because of cancer. She was 12 yrs old and lived a very happy life. I got her at 5 weeks and loved her very much and still miss her dearly. My little bit a mini dashound black and tan was attaked by a nother dog 2 times the fist time the vet saved her. But the second time I had to put her down. I had as anyone would, a very hard thing to watch another dog 10 times her size do the unthinkable. I tried every thing to get her out of the dogs mouth. But to no avail I couldn't do it. The dog finally let go after I said outside to my other dogs. I still had Lady at the time and a golden named logan which I still have. He is such a good dog. and he is a loving and very smart dog. But that is the story of my lost pets and the pain does seem to be less every day of the lose of Lady & Little bit. But the memories are forevery there of 2 loving animals that exspected nothing but a hug or a pat on the head. Even though they were spoiled and got much more then that. And a word of advise to anyone out there that may have to put a pet down DO NOT GO IN THE ROOM AND BE WITH THEM!!!!! I did that with lady and I wish I had not. It has left a permant memory that I wish I did not have. I thought I could handle it but I couldn't. So please for you pet owners out there that think they can you can't it will hurt more then you know. So I will close this story with a hug(()) and may all your memories of your pets be good ones IN MEMORY OF LITTLE BIT & LADY
