December 22, 2000 was the last day of my sweet girl's life. Her Daddy and I found out she had bone cancer and watched her go down quickly. We felt it best to put her to sleep since she no longer seemed happy here. Sally was a big, beautiful black lab with a heart of gold and a sweetness that would melt your heart. She would have been 10 in February. We had only had her for five years but that didn't make my heart break any easier when my baby girl breathed her last breath. I know she is in a place with a field full of rabbits for her to chase and a pond where she can swim all day. Mommy will miss you sweet baby girl but you will always be in my heart.
