hello, my name is angie and i wanted to tell everyone melia's story. Melia was a year old when god delivered her to us. her family could not keep her and gave her to my daughter who is special needs she is adhd and my son has cerebral palsy. She was the first ferret we ever had, and she immediately found her way in my heart. The effect this heart stealer had on the children was incredible. She followed them around and each day she was with us way special. my daughter became her best friend and she was very found on my son. she would patiently wait for him to pick her up and give him kisses. both of the kids played with her gently and she gave her love to them freely and with her whole heart. Sadly after a long fight with ece which our vet knew nothing about she passed gently with diginty on to the next world. she licked each of the childrens hands with the last of her strenght and quietly died in my arms. she will be missed greatly and has left a gaping hole in our hearts. melia will be in our hearts until the day we join her.
