this isnt so much a poem or a story, but it is important to me. in my sociology class i chose to write a paper on dealing with a pets death. I recently lost my boston terrier sweetums and it has been very hard. I was hoping that if people will email me with there story on pet loss, i can include it in my paper and present it to my class. I want to ask
A: Pet info such as name, age,sex and how long you had you had your pet.
B: how your pet passed away, a description of your grieving process
C: How did people such as friend or family react to you dealing with your pet loss.
If any of these things are too personal then maybe you could write me your own letter and oppinion. I would also like permission to copy stories into a report i will hand out to my class, so let me know if thats alright.
Again, im asking for the help from any pet owner, all help is much needed and appreciated. I belive it is important to help my class understand how i felt and how all people feel during pet loss, how this affects people. Pets are something we cherish, they give us faithful companionship and unconditional love. I hope for my class to see how important they are to our society and family structure.
