Smokey man now that it has been a few weeks since you went away , I want to tell you that your sister Katie is doing pretty well so far. The first few days you where gone she cried some but not as much as I didi when I thought about how her mind must be confused. She must be thinking " where is my big brother Smokey , he has never left me alone this long before" she looks for you every day and I guess she is still thinking that you will be just around the corner waiting for her. I forget and sometimes tell her that it is time for you guys to go outside and she runs to get you but comes bake without her best friend. I talk to her about yopu all the time and tell her that she will see you again an dyou willl be younger looking and stronger and ready to play, but she will still have to go easy on your ears. I think she understands that she will see you one day but when I let her out side sometimes she just looks out the gate and it is like she is seeing you come for her. I cut the grass today buddy and it is just not the same with out you trying to get away with eating the clumps of grass. I put your dinner bowl on the shelf and it was a very hard thing to do but I can look up at it when I feed Katie and think about how you loved your dinner time. I still hope I made the right choice for you , it rained a little on saturday and I was hopeing you would send me and Brianna a rainbow but I guess you where real busy seeing all your old friends, I love you my Smokey man and I try to tell my self that it will get better but so far it has not, Kelly says she is really going to miss you when she comes up again ,you and her had a real bond,,bye for now..
