It was a beautiful day the sun was shining and It was 3 days after my birthday november 9. I was going outside to see Gizmo our 6 year old pomaranian chiuahua. I stepped outside onto the porch and saw hes adorable brown and black face smiling at me. I said,"Hello Gizmo! Im going to feed you right now alright?,". He started wagging hes tail. so before I went to get the dog food I said ok Gizmo Ill be right back! bye!. I went inside the house to ask my mom if I ould feed Gizmo but she said,"no." Thats because I was sick that day and she wanted me to rest. So I grumbled but my mom went to feed him. I never knew that was going to be the last time that I was going to see him(sniffles and crys). That night my dad was busy cutting my grandmas grass across the road. None of us knew that Gizmo got loose. It was about 8:30-9:00 and my dad was coming back home from cutting my grandmas grass. He thought he saw a garbage bag on the road. He went to look and he yelled. my mom, sister, brother and I ran to the door and asked my dad,"What happened?!". He yelled and sniffled and cryed,"itt...ss Gizmo!." I said NOOOOOOO!. Before he even said what happened I knew. Because I went to look outside at his house and he wasnt there.(CRYING)I was about to see him but my dad said no. plus with my illness it would be bad to see something terrible. I cried sooooo much. I loved that sweet dog face. I told myself why did he have to get run over! why!. He doesnt deserve this. I told myself atleast I got to say goodbye one last time. Ill always remember him. But now it seems so different because when we get home from school or from town we are so used to him jumpping put of his house and wagging his tail at us and licking our legs. Ill never ever forget him. I know that one day Gizmo and I will meet one day at Rainbow Bridge and i will caress him and nuture him with care. Gizmo I love you from the bottom of my heart and you are still here I know it. Just in spirit and watching over us still with that sweet soft bark. I love you Gizmo!
