to many

At the age of fifteen, ive seen more loved ones die then my broken heart can take. Most of them beloved pets. A few years ago i watched my loving dog jackie be snatched away from me, and life, by the jaws of a passing truck. He had just celebrated his first birthday. To all the adults out there reading this, you have never known real pain unless you've sat on the roadside with a dead loved one cradled in your arms and your childhood heart breaking. It seems pain is inclined to come quicker, stay longer and be sharper when you've witnessed the tradgy. Then about a year ago ,my cousin melissa bought a small persian kitten and named him grub. withen a month the cat took sick and was found to have a deadly birth defect. the vet said he wouldnt last more the a week, but we watched that kitten fight to very last, close to two months later when he died in melissa's arms. Even though he wasnt mine i felt so much love toward him, it hurt more when he was gone. Then came the real blow. The familys cat of fifteen years, pokey, took sick and withen 12 hours was gone. it was such a shock to the family no one knew what to do.I remember holding her paw when she died, and shaking her afterwards, trying to shake the life back into her.it didnt work. the stories ive told is not all ive have seen. there is more, but these were the ones closest to my heart, i wanted others to no about them and how important the were to me. to anyone who has ever lost a pet, its the hardest thing to go through in life, but take my word, they never be forgotten. till the end of forever, you will share a heart.
