We lost Sarah our fur baby Mar.1, 2005. I visit RB often in her memory and found your notes to Samba this morning. I cried my way through your losses and remembered my Sarah so fondly. We had Sarah almost 14 years as well and will never be able to replace her. I have a grand-fur-baby now and love her visits every weekend. Thank you for sharing your babies with everyone and good luck with all that you bring in to your home.

Thank you, Christie, and what a pleasant surprise -- I had no idea
you'd get back to me. I tried replying directly, but my mail bounced back more than once.
Again, you have a way of putting things that comforts me. I wrote
another friend who told me that the pain one feels is so isolating
because nobody, even those with genuine sympathy, can understand the
special bond you share with your pet, yet somehow, all the wonderful
times you've spent with each other make this transient pain so worth
it. And knowing my furry little mutt hated to see me sad and licked
away my tears (no joke, he really did!) I know he wouldn't have wanted
to see me grieve so.
So I'll send him a little scratch behind the ears and think of him
often because I did so love him. =)
Please keep updating all your pages on this site -- they're absolutely
heartwarming to read.

I just wanted to drop by and say you're truly the best kind of mom to your pets. I'm sure they loved you very, very much. My baby passed away yesterday and after 15 long years together I know the pain isn't going to heal soon. Somehow, reading your page and seeing the place your babies still hold in your heart makes me feel much better. Thank you. =)

I'm so sorry to hear about your baby. We also have lost our little girl which was a cocker too. They are the best friends anyone can have. Our Angel had so many problems too but finally left us due to cancer.We also tried to hang on to her as long as we could but finally had to let her go. They will stay in our memories forever.

Hello Samba! Such a sweet and precious face you have. I just looked at the wonderful tribute your mom and dad have created for you at RB. I think they still miss you a lot so maybe you could send them a sign that you are ok and still watching over them..and that you miss them too. Christi and Robert, even though some time has passed I know you still miss Samba. Those we held in our arms for a little while, we hold in our hearts forever. No matter how long our babies are with us it never seems long enough. Hold your memories of Samba close until you are together again at the Bridge. My deepest sympathies.

Just read about you beloved pet.Sounds like she & Lady would be buddy's!! lady was 12 when we decided to let her out of her pain. Our final days went by soo fast. I was not there when she was sent to Heaven. I know she is scampering about cahsing squirrels and eating animal cookies. Please visit her residency and leave a note if you want to.

Hi Christi, I wanted to be one of the first to sign your beautiful Samba's Guest book... Take comfort in knowing that she is with Button's & Track's & of course my Boo Boo ( A.K.A. Snickers ) & you will see them all again someday. Until then they will watch over you & your sweet Baily.....
I will say a special Cocker Spaniel Prayer before I leave Samba's residency today Christi.
