I remember how excited you were to have a new home. You ran to the bowl for a bite of food, ran to me for a pat, ran to your bowl, and then ran to papa. I remember how run down you were with that cold and how the bottoms of your little white paws were so thickened, because you'd been on the road for so long. I remember that you slept with me every night until the last night of your life. I remember how proud you were when you stood up to Tabitha and how much praise you got for that. I remember you being excited about all those packages, and how you always seemed to know which of Christmas packages were yours. I will always remember your bright eyes, your sweet face, and your resolute spirit. You'll always be my little, soft football girl. I just want you to know how very much you are missed. And how silent the house became when you weren't in it anymore. And when the time comes for me, I will I promise come and get you.
