M emories O f an angel G irl A lways I n our hearts It has been four years, but you are always in our thoughts. Every time we visit a place that you went with us, we recall the special memories of you. We miss your little dance when you wanted something and we had to guess what. We miss your talking when we get out the harnesses and leashes. Your spot at the top of the bed is cold and empty. The other babies often lay there for a moment and then move to give you room. Mogwai was a very special baby. She was born on Guam and flew first class here to our home in South Carolina. She had congentital Kidney failure. Russ also has Kidney failure and they were inseperable. The vet said that our love is the only reason she reached 4 1/2 years old. Gizmo, Wicket, and Shodu miss you terribly. We have added Savannah, Sianna Mei, and Koko Li Tzu to our home, not to replace you but to enhance your memory. Each of your "sisters" lost one of their babies in 2007. We burried them with you so you could watch over them and play with thme on the bridge while you wait for us. Your Sister, Si-Si lost four babies this year (2010). She is very ill too. She asks that you take good care of her babies until she can join and help you. Sunlight streams through window pane unto a spot on the floor.... then I remember, it's where you used to lie, but now you are no more. Our feet walk down a hall of carpet, and muted echoes sound.... then I remember, It's where your paws would joyously abound. A voice is heard along the road, and up beyond the hill, then I remember it can't be yours.... your golden voice is still. But I'll take that vacant spot of floor and empty muted hall and lay them with the absent voice and unused dish along the wall. I'll wrap these treasured memorials in a blanket of my love and keep them for my best friend until we meet above.
