Memories of Perseus
Perseus was the best dog I could have ever asked for. He was my baby Shadow's puppy. He was the last of his little family to pass away. He was a gentle, lovable, sweet angel. I had to put him down on my birthday, November 25, 2011. He gave me fourteen wonderful years. When I had to put him down it felt like my world ended. His buddy Princess misses him to. We love and miss him very much. I treasure the days we spent together. You used to climb fences like a pro. Princess misses sleeping with you every night and sharing bowls of leftovers. Putting you down was so hard, but it was what was best for you, and I had to think of you. Your quality of life. I know even though it hurts so much that you are happy now and running and playing with your family, and you are not suffering anymore. Before you got so sick, you used to love to play with Princess. When someone would tug on your nose you would make the cutest face and growl. You were known as the "Big Guy", or "Sir". I remember before you got so sick , you would scratch your head on my Xmas tree, until you finally knocked it down. When you could still get on the bed, you would sleep with me every night. You are my " Big Guy". Rest in peace. Till we meet again. Love and miss you so much. Mommy, Princess, Ron, Michael.

You run and play up in heaven above. Cradled in God's arms, covered with his love.
Playing by the bridge, waiting for the day, we come down thru the meadow to the bridge to stay.

I miss you so much, my four legged friend.
I ask myself each day if the pain will ever end.
Your loss is a cross I just have to bear.
Because we were a team, an inseperable pair.

Our beloved Perseus, our faithful friend, and your love you showed till the very end.
For 14 years our family was blessed, now it is time for you to rest.
You still live on in the hearts and minds of the loving family you left behind.

Your place I'll hold, you will be missed.
The fur I stroked, the nose I kissed.
As you journey to your final rest.
Take this with you, I loved you best.
