Memories of Tippy
Tippy came into our life in the spring of 1997 as an orphaned kitten. She had neurological problems and seizures on occasion, but was the most affectionate cat and was truly grateful for the life we gave her. She never let her neurological problems get in the way and lived as normal a life as any cat could. Tippy was diagnosed with chronic renal failure in January 2007 and spindle cell sarcoma in October 2007. We gave her sub-Q fluids for 14 months (daily for the past six months) and she never fought us. She truly knew it made her feel better and gave her more quality time to be with us. Sadly, Tippy reached end stage renal failure last month and we knew that the time had come to let her go on Friday, March 7, 2008. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her, including her best friend "Fairhill". Rest in peace my sweet little baby. We will never forget you.
