| 1 So funny how you could spin around like the wheel of fortune on your belly. The pool, I'll never forget my 1st day back to work after surgery. I filled the pool, you splashed half the water out annd dug up dirt and were filthy. I scolded you and said you better be clean when I get back. You were, you bathed in the pool! Always biting a puppies ears had to repeatedly tell you no ears. Limbo with Winter. That was the best, cueing her to leap over you and arch your back higher each time to try and make her fall. You sneaking the homemade dog treats off the counter over nite. I went to put in containers in the morning. I left them out to cool. In the morning I thought, I made much more. That's why you were in and out if my room that nite. I had no idea what you were up to. Teaching the younger dogs to do something naughty you normally wouldn't do to see them get in trouble. You were a little jealous. Don't worry Willow I loved you just the same! You were so special, part of Whisper and Athena and spent 6.5 years of your life with Nakita. Then, 6.5 with Winter, 5 with Ace and Diamond and only 4 months with little Zeke. You were the bridge between the old pack and new one. You were special because everyone got to be with Willow. You were a nice dog with good manners and not too awful mischievous for a husky. Your back scratcher will always be a prized possession here....I bought it just for you! I loved having you sleep on my bed with me, you always protected and barked if a stranger was around. You loved baths, the only husky I've ever had that loved a bath. Swimming too, you were the only that enjoyed the wading pool. You were a beautiful girl Willow, tall and slender with a prancy pants walk like your Mama. I bet your thrilled to be with Mom and Dad and Nakita again. You probably met your departed brother "Denali". Little Jack Frost too, please take good care of him for Winter. Please forgive Winter for attacking you. I think she did because she knew you were sick. We will all miss you Willow, I keep thinking how you could be almost 14 already. The years flew by so fast, if I couldve had just a few more. Rest in Peace, Sweet Baby, I always think about and love you. |
