Ellie..a beautiful tribute to a great friend. 8-ball is a beautiful girl with a great smile. It is always hard to lose a furry young or old and I have lost both. But no matter what or for whatever reason they are always taken from us too soon leaving their forever pawprints within us. I am so sorry to hear about your loss of 8-Ball. Please find comfort in knowing that 8-Ball is now at Rainbows Bridge and making lots of friends. Saying goodbye is never easy. I also lost my precious cat Spooky July 30th, 2001, after 16 wonderful years with her. I have lost several babies since Spooky's passing. Hannah 1/11/13, Sammi 8/2/13, Maci 4/9/14, Gabbi 3/20/17, Zoe 1/3/18, Willow 6/4/18, Shelby 6/12/18, Bear 11/17/19, Bella and Murphy who were both tragically poisoned on 06/18/20, Firefly 12/20/22, and Zachary 02/19/23. I never got to meet 8-Ball, but Elle's sheer joy and love for this little doggo was absolutely undeniable. I have loved seeing all the FB posts and Snaps of 'lil 8-ball' over the last few years - especially the nap ball poses. ;) Senior doggos always win me over and she was no exception. We never met, but I'm gonna miss you little elder doggo.

I loved getting to know you, 8-ball. You always knew when I was coming over and knew my car. I loved how you and Elle would walk to come see me at my moms old house. Napping with you was the best, even when you’d get mad because my leg was in the way. So many songs remind me of “Roo” and you’ll forever be in our hearts as the best (and cutest) black dog named ball. I’m so glad to have met you. ♥️
