Beth..a beautiful tribute to a great friend. Abby is a beautiful girl. It is always hard to lose a furry young or old and I have lost both. But no matter what or for whatever reason they are always taken from us too soon leaving their forever pawprints within us. Be sure to know she is happy, healthy and playing with Oreo, Ralph, Eva and Hermione while waiting for us to join them at the Bridge. I can send you my babies sites if you wish to visit..take care.. I am so sorry. I carry Gilder around for 14 years now because my dog had bone cancer and I agreed to amputate his leg and give him chemo. He died five months later and I think that was selfish and unfair because I just wanted him to stay. But I know that your kitty and my doggy would not want us to feel that way. I am crying now because I know you’re pain. Just remember, your grief will mirror your love and they know we love them more than anything. I wish you the peace. I know your cat will have now.

Your mom and I had Abby from a kitten. She grew with us and even played with Dylan and Sheeza, our border collies. I brought her down to you after your mom passed for all the reasons you are aware of, mostly that she would be better with you since she would not have liked all the Dalmatians where I moved to. She was a great cat, played with the dogs and didn't put up with their crap. It is hard losing her but, she is back with your mom again along with our dogs we had along the way. Always remember her fondly, keep her playfullness close to your heart an rejoice over the time you had with her here.
