I’m sorry for your loss. I tragically lost my beloved dog 4 months ago and I’m struggling to figure it all out. I came across you memorial and I just wanted to say that my Osa also loved laying by the heater during the winter. She slept there for hours. I hope Osa and April are laying there together and keeping each other company. Thank you.

I am so sorry to hear about your loss of April. Please find comfort in knowing that April is now at Rainbows Bridge and making lots of friends. Saying goodbye is never easy. I also lost my precious cat Spooky July 30th 2001 after 16 wonderful years with her. I am sure that April and Spooky have become good friends. "God gave us our memories so that we might have Roses in December." a quote by J.M. Barrie. May the memories of your blessed furangel April, the ones that can't help but bring a smile to your face and a chuckle to your heart as you remember the way your baby's tender love touched your life, be the ones that surround you this Holiday Season. My prayer for each of us this Christmas season, is that each of our babies wrap up a special little sign for each one of us back here, and send it to us. And may you catch a glimpse of your special sign, just when your heart needs it most.... May each love-filled memory you have of your beloved furbaby bring to your heart the very warmth and sunshine of the Rainbow itself. That's just one "gift" your fur-angel would want for you this blessed season.... With best wishes for you and your family this Holiday, Karen (Dusty, DJ & Patches' mom) http://RainbowsBridge.com/residents/DUSTY101/Resident.htm

My deepest sympathies to you on your loss. I do know what it is like to lose a loved one, whether Human or one of our special, furry babies. Having lost quite a few of my own and doing dog rescue, it is never easy. From my house of 6 furr babies, to yours, we wish you the best. If you ever need to write please do so. I will be there for you. They never leave us, we just don't see them any more. Their spirit lives on.

My sincere sympathy on the loss of your beloved April. It's so hard to let them go, but as long as we remember them with love - they'll never really leave us. I hope the precious memories you have bring you comfort.

Being an animal lover, I have had many wonderful pets over the 29 years I've been alive. I remember each one for their unique personalities and quirks, and though I have always adopted new fur babies when mine have passed away, nothing replaces the pet I have lost. Nothing will bring them back, but I think if God does indeed exist, when this grey curtain rolls back and we are no more, we will find ourselves crossing the Rainbow Bridge into the Animal's Holy Kingdom, and will one day be reunited in heaven. I know you don't know me, but my name is Sarah. I monitor the site for new arrivals so I can visit our new residents and offer some measure of comfort and solace. I have lost many pets, both as a child and an adult. I share in your grief as a parent of many animals, and offer the only comfort I can, even if it is just words across a distance. May your pet forever romp across the fields in the Rainbows Bridge. "Bless those who mourn, for they will be comforted." James 5:15 S

Joe, I just visited April. She was really beautiful. I love your pictures, cats sure know how to relax. I understand how it hurts to lose these special little souls, that come into our lives and change our lives. They always take part of us with them when they leave. I lost my precious Bichon, Amor 3 months ago. I still miss her and think of her everyday. Maybe some day we will smile and not cry when we think of them, remembering all the love and joy they gave us so freely. Please visit my Bichon, Amor, at Rainbow Bridge to see my little girl. Take care, God bless. Eleanor

What a beautiful girl! She looks exactly like my Skippy (he's been gone 10 yrs) who is probably playing with her right now! She knows how much you love her and has probably found her own spot on a rocking chair over the bridge!
