Being an animal lover, I have had many wonderful pets over the 29 years I've been alive. I remember each one for their unique personalities and quirks, and though I have always adopted new fur babies when mine have passed away, nothing replaces the pet I have lost. Nothing will bring them back, but I think if God does indeed exist, when this grey curtain rolls back and we are no more, we will find ourselves crossing the Rainbow Bridge into the Animal's Holy Kingdom, and will one day be reunited in heaven.
I know you don't know me, but my name is Sarah. I monitor the site for new arrivals so I can visit our new residents and offer some measure of comfort and solace. I have lost many pets, both as a child and an adult. I share in your grief as a parent of many animals, and offer the only comfort I can, even if it is just words across a distance.
May your pet forever romp across the fields in the Rainbows Bridge. "Bless those who mourn, for they will be comforted." James 5:15
