Thank-you, Linda for sharing Bailey's page with us. Having just lost both of our beloved girls, we know the pain and heartache that is felt when our furry babies leave us. Although they are always meant to have lives shorter than ours, it does not dull the sadness of not seeing their sweet, beautiful faces or having them to love and care for. The amount of love that we get from them cannot be measured and will stay in our hearts, minds and souls forever - they become a part of us. I hope they are all playing together and watching over all of us until we meet again one day never to part.

Hello my sweet pup, it's been a while since i wrote anything on your page, but I visit you often and miss you so much. Your Poppa and I just came home from visiting with my family - the first time in 3 years since I would not leave you behind. It was strange not coming home to you - I remember how excited you always were to see us and how many kisses you gave us. Your sister Susie stayed with a friend and did well, but she wasn't as happy to come home .... well she is a cat after all, but she seems to have settled back in. She loves to sleep in your basket - I am sure she misses you too. We are supposed to get some snow tomorrow - you would have loved it. Watch over your Poppa and I until we meet again, I love and miss you so very much.

Hello my sweet pup, sorry I have not written in a while. It just makes me so sad not to have you here, but I just tell myself how lucky we were to have had you for so many wonderful years. We will be going to the Outer Banks soon and will take some of your ashes to sprinkle there - we know how much you loved to be there with us. It won't be the same without you. I hope you are watching over us when you are not off chasing rabbits and squirrels! Susie is being a good kitty and I am sure she misses you too - she sleeps in your basket a lot. Hello my sweet puppy, just back from visiting Grandma Ruth. Was strange not to have you along - you would have enjoyed seeing Flash, Rusty and Tucker. Sally has joined you over the Bridge and we missed her also. Susie was glad to see us when we got home and she is doing well in the "treat" area - I think you are coaching her from above. She has become more affectionate, but will never take your place. We are coming up on the 5 month anniversary of your passing, it seems like yesterday that you left. I love and miss you. xxxxx

Hi Bailey - one of your play pals came to visit today. Cheeka was here when her Momma & Poppa went to the city to see a show. Sister Susie did not really know what to do and kept a close eye on the 4-legged furry invader. I think Cheeka knows this was your house and your yard. The first day of Summer has come and gone. The little birds in the bird house have left the nest. We have had dinner some evenings on the patio now that it is warmer, and we think about your little gestures so that we don't forget you like things from the grill just as much as we do. We see you everywhere, and those thoughts are with your smiling, happy face. We're going to start going to Herbie's again on Sundays and will save the bottom of the cone for you. I am so sorry to hear about your loss of Bailey. Please find comfort in knowing that Bailey is now at Rainbows Bridge and making lots of friends. Saying goodbye is never easy. I also lost my precious cat Spooky July 30th 2001 after 16 wonderful years with her. I am sure that Bailey and Spooky have become good friends.
