Hi there! Today I took our neighborhood kitty to the cemetery after a tragic accident. I was feeling really sad and decided to visit the Rainbow Bridge site. I didn’t know you could search by city and did a search of Redondo Beach. I found your memorial to Bandit - then eventually the rest of your pups. I would love to commend you on never forgetting to send them a message on November 1st of every year!❤️ So many accounts lie dormant as people move on - makes me really saddened. You are amazing and I have no doubt that you will be reunited with your babies one day. I lost my last boy on December 1st, 2020 - every year on that date at 2:59 pm, I sit in the spot where he took his last breath and mourn him - miss my life with Rocky 💔

I lost my own Bandit on 2/10/12, he was born April 1998 and was almost 14 when he died. I had to move away from my home as the memories hurt too much. He was my assistance dog and was with me 24/7 for so many years. I have other dogs but like with your Bandit, he was my "soul dog", "heart dog" and the bond stronger than I have ever had with a person or animal. I truly understand your hurting as I still hurt and its been almost 15 months since he transitioned. You are right we will meet our angels again. Sometimes they even come back to us in our lifetime. I'm praying for my angel to come back to me. Thank you for sharing your story, as no one else seems to understand the depth of our bond. You do, I know.

King Solomon wrote in Ecclesiastes: "To everything there is a season and a time to every purpose under heaven…a time to weep and a time to laugh; a time to mourn and a time to dance…" The Zohar, the classic work of Kabbalah, describes the inner psyche of man as "crying being on one side of the heart and laughing on the other side of the heart." Yet, there is an even deeper understanding, we will learn to be joyous and broken hearted at the same time. Our fur babies where so beautiful and a gift of true joy & love, how can we not be happy when we reflect on their memory and begin to celebrate their life. Robin, he truly is beautiful and precious in every way. What a wonderful blessing that sweet Bandit came into your life many years ago and became such a beloved companion and friend. My kitty, Bubba Lou, the heart light of my life, was also 14 when he left for heaven's most beautiful meadow last year. We must always know that our babies are happy and well, romping in a new world full of love and fun. We will be reunited with them at the rainbow bridge someday. My Sidney was on the bridge to welcome Bandit to his new home. They are chasing sunbeams and telling "tails" of their great lives. I have asked them to send you a rainbow from heaven above, a upside down smile. When you miss Bandit the most listen to your heart, his love is there.

Robin, I'm sooo sorry, reading your posts breaks my heart. I wish there was something I could say or do to ease your pain. I do believe will we see our fur babies again. I have two waiting for me at Rainbow Bridge, Cheval (a mastiff) and Sophia (rottweiler). I'm so glad your employer is understanding and allows you to bring Smokey to work with you.
