Billie..a beautiful tribute to a great friend. It is always hard to lose a furry young or old and I have lost both. But no matter what or for whatever reason they are always taken from us too soon leaving their forever pawprints within us. Oh what a beautiful story and such a good long life!!! You are truly blessed to have known her so long and so closely. Now she is your own personal guardian angel watching over you until you hug again. She is always with you just in a different kind of presence. I feel my baby all the time. I talk to him every day and call his name. I can feel he loves it. It keeps us connected and keeps our love alive. Such angels they are and how lucky we are to have them. I thank God every day that I am an animal and especially a kitty lover. They teach so much and give so much more than we even know how to give. God bless you and Billie. I am so sorry to hear about your loss of Billie. Please find comfort in knowing that Billie is now at Rainbows Bridge and making lots of friends. Saying goodbye is never easy. I also lost my precious cat Spooky July 30th 2001 after 16 wonderful years with her. I have lost several babies since Spooky's passing. Hannah 1/11/13, Sammi 8/2/13,Maci 4/9/14, Gabbi 3/20/17, Zoe 1/3/18, Willow 6/4/18, Shelby 6/12/18, Bear 11/17/19 and Bella and Murphy who were both tragically poisoned on 06/18/20. Hi Billie. I am so sorry for the loss of your precious Billie. I found your memorial posting so touching, moving, it brought me to tears. At the same time is also made me smile as it reminds me of the attitude of my own sweet girl who I lost last June. I can understand the heartache of losing such a beloved fur kid. They always amaze us by giving 100% of themselves. Losing them is losing a part of ourselves. I've no doubt Billie knew she was loved, cherished. She left her pawprint on your heart. I am sure she remains with you in spirit and just like my own dear girl visits me in my dreams, Billie will visit yours as she has already given you a sign. You and Billie formed a forever bond that does not diminish with time. I hope recalling the memories you both created together brings you peace, comfort and joy.
