It’s been 1 year since you’ve gone to the rainbow bridge son and I still miss you more than words can say. I have such fond memories of you and the way you always made me smile and laugh. Like the time I was mowing the yard and you came prancing up with what I thought was a stick dangling out both sides of your mouth. Boy was I surprised when you dropped it at my feet and a snake slithered off very quickly! Lol Then there was the time I was way back in the attic and started hearing something up there with me. I shined the flashlight and there you were! You had followed me up there saying “hey Dad!” You were definitely my best buddy and gave me countless times like that. I miss you nibbling on my ears when I’m sleeping in the middle of the night and breathing in them. Lol And then there was that very unique bugle you did! I could go on and on as you brought countless joy to my life. You are one-of-a-kind and will always be my handsome ransom! Love and miss you son. Your Dad forever.

I am so sorry to hear about your loss of Blackie. Please find comfort in knowing that Blackie is now at Rainbows Bridge and making lots of friends. Saying goodbye is never easy. I also lost my precious cat Spooky July 30th 2001 after 16 wonderful years with her. I have lost several babies since Spooky's passing. Hannah 1/11/13, Sammi 8/2/13,Maci 4/9/14, Gabbi 3/20/17, Zoe 1/3/18, Willow 6/4/18, and Shelby 6/12/18. I am sure that Blackie and my babies have all become good friends.
