May the memories of your sweet Blade, the ones that can't help but bring a smile to your heart as you remember how your baby’s paw prints touched your life, be the ones that surround you this first Holiday Season without your beloved furbaby. My prayer for all of us this Joyous season, is that our babies will wrap up a special little sign for each one of us back here, and send it to us during this blessed season. Hello Carey, As time passes and you begin to reflect on memories of your beautiful Blade. King Solomon wrote in Ecclesiastes: "To everything there is a season and a time to every purpose under heaven…a time to weep and a time to laugh; a time to mourn and a time to dance…" The Zohar, the classic work of Kabbalah, describes the inner psyche of man as "crying being on one side of the heart and laughing on the other side of the heart." Yet, there is an even deeper understanding, we will learn to be joyous and broken hearted at the same time. Our fur babies where so beautiful and a gift of true joy & love, how can we not be happy when we reflect on their memory and begin to celebrate their life. I'm so sorry to hear about your sweet boy. It hurts my heart to even try and imagine how it felt to make that horrible decision. Thank you for sharing his story. I am so sorry to hear about your loss of Blade. Please find comfort in knowing that Blade is now at Rainbows Bridge and making lots of friends. Saying goodbye is never easy. I also lost my precious cat Spooky July 30th 2001 after 16 wonderful years with her. On January 11, 2013, I lost my faithful friend Hannah who was a beautiful blue tick hound dog. On August 2, 2013 another one of my beautiful cats, Sammi, a black and white tabby, went to Rainbows Bridge. April 9, 2014, Maci, my English Bulldog passed over to Rainbows Bridge. Maci and Hannah were best friends. I am sure that Blade and my babies have all become good friends. Carey- How difficult it is to prepare ourselves for the unexpected, as in your heartfelt tribute to Blade. I am deeply sorry for your loss and may fond memories of the past and the pure joy of the moment reflect on the beautiful life shared with your special fur-child. Dear Carey I'm sorry for the loss of your Blade. What a handsome guy. I'm sorry to write to you again so soon. I lost my Finnbar unexpectedly as well December 2012.I understand how hard it is to say goodbye.When its you'll all be together again just as it should be.Until Blade,along with Riley, are waiting for you at Rainbowsbridge. They are young, and healthy, having a ball all the while still keeping an eye on you.I hope Blade has met my Finnbar. He's a friendly little cat but he's scrappy and he can catch.

Blade I am sorry for your loss. Carey loves you and misses you very much. My Perseus went to Rainbow Bridge when he was 14. There are no more aches or pains. No rain only sunshine. Running and playing all day with the other furbabies. One day we will join them for all eternity at Rainbow Bridge.

For sweet Blade, I know that during your lifetime you gave Carey much joy. Now I am wishing for you lots and lots of happiness in the meadows beyond the Rainbow Bridge. From looking at your photo and reading what Carey wrote for and about you it is obvious that you came from a very warm and loving home. Blade I have a wonderful playmate for you. His name is Pedro and although he is a little dog he is adorable just like you. I know you two will be very good friends. For Carey, I just visited Blade's Rainbows Bridge residency and wanted to express my deepest sympathy for the loss of your precious furangel. I am sure if asked, Blade would have said that every day spent with you was a blessing. Having lost my little dog Pedro I can understand how you must be feeling and how much you must miss Blade.
