I am so sorry to hear about your loss of Bucky. Please find comfort in knowing that Bucky is now at Rainbows Bridge and making lots of friends. Saying goodbye is never easy. I also lost my precious cat Spooky July 30th 2001 after 16 wonderful years with her. I am sure that Bucky and Spooky have become good friends. I'm sorry for your loss. I have both Akita's and Anatolian Shepherds. They are my heart beat - my constant companions. The description you gave of Bucky's character made me smile... I am so sorry for your loss of Bucky. What a handsome dog, and from your description, a very sweet and loving companion. I know how you must miss him. I have several sweet furry loved ones waiting for me at the Rainbow Bridge. It is very comforting to know that your "Guardian of the Flock", Bucky, is watching over them. My deepest sympathies to you on your loss. I do know what it is like to lose a loved one, whether Human or one of our special, furry babies. Having lost quite a few of my own and doing dog rescue, it is never easy. From my house of 8 furr babies, to yours, we wish you the best. If you ever need to write please do so. I will be there for you. They never leave us, we just don't see them any more. Their spirit lives on.

I received your email & I am so sorry for your loss. My Poncho was an Australian Shepherd mix if that is the breed you were referring to. Bucky definately is as well.He resembles my Poncho. They are an amazing breed. Loving, loyal and attached to your heart for life. We can never replace them but can only bring new little 4 legged creatures into our homes to love once again. My thoughts are with you and yours.

Bucky - How handsome you are and you gave so much loyalty to your family! Send them some signs, kisses from the Rainbow to let them know that you are safe, happy, healthy and will have many friends. Let Richard and the family know you have met up with Miss Muffy and that God has appointed the both of you to be the guardian, protectors to watch over them until they are called to the Bridge to join you one day. I know that someday we will be together again with our beautiful companions; so please take comfort in that there love for us goes on as our love for them does for eternity.
