Play in the meadow with all your friends, chase butterflies and crickets and roll in the soft grass, swim in the crystal clear water streams and nap in golden sunbeams ... then gather all your love, wrap it in angel hair and slide it down the rainbow so your mom can smile as it enters her heart. I just read your whole story and I am so sorry for your loss. We, too had a Beagle named Buddy who loved cheeseburgers. She just went to the bridge 2 weeks ago, and I just can't get used to it. We had 11 great years together, and although we were given another beagle last year, Makenzie is just not Buddy! Thank you for sharing your story and keep the faith. God Bless You.

i just lost Scout on July 4th and the pain is so raw! your site is so beautiful and inspiring! it gives me joy to know how much you loved your Buddy and how much he loved you.. and to know that Scout has a new friend that she can play with, run with, roll in the grass with, & that they can talk for hours on end of their 'humans' and how much they are loved and missed. your words bring me comfort. i know & feel your pain, but somehow knowing that Scout isn't alone, well, maybe that will help YOU know that Buddy isn't alone, either. i'm so very, sorry for your loss, for your grief. the pain is horrible. but your love for Buddy is so awesome and so evident. i know that he has joy knowing you still remember him so. and i'm sure he's so proud to have been remembered so wonderfully as you have shown here! i'm glad Buddy's brother is there with you. maybe he can bring a new joy to you that you wouldn't have known if you hadn't braved to let him in your lives. may God Bless you Richly!
