I am sorry to know about your little guy Buddy. His story is some what like my sweet Baby Bee. I got 8 years with her but still feels that just wasn't enough. It is funny when you said that you were not a dog person. Well, I wasn't a poodle person. They sure find their clever ways to get to your heart though. I am so glad that Buddy found you, you gave him a second chance and he got his happy ending. Until you see each other again, know that Buddy lives in your heart.

Hello, handsome Buddy, welcome to the meadow by Rainbow Bridge. Mommy and Daddy love and miss you so...they made you a beautiful place and wrote loving words about you. We asked our Pressy to welcome you and be a playmate to chase colorful rainbows and give you special kitty love headbumps. She'll show you wonders of Paradise meadow and teach you to send love signs on the wind so Mommy and Daddy feel your loving presence with them and sweet kisses in gentle breezes. You're now a guardian star shining brightly until they come to cross the Bridge together for all time. We ask they not be so sad but treasure your memory and remember you're nestled beside your pawprints deep in their hearts forever. Play meadow games with furangels but stop often to smile at Mommy and Daddy so they feel the warmth of your love surround them and know you miss them too and are with them. Soar among clouds on silvery new angel wings to watch over Mommy and Daddy always, beloved sweet Buddy. Pressy's Grandpa

Dear Mike and Lynn, Please accept my condolences on the death of your friend Buddy! You guys were so selfless and thoughtful to adopt a pup who needed a lot of love and care, and by how he is missed by you, I can see that he certainly gave it right back to you! I smiled to hear you tell of his spicy personality- some pups (including mine) can be very particular about what and who they like! I love it! Your telling of how you cared for Buddy with his many health issues was so touching- your dedication is incredible. I hope that it gives you comfort to know that you are thought of! -Megan in PHL, with Dexter "Big Essie" (Bernese mountain dog) and Rinchen (Chow Chow)

Dr. Gore, Ann-Mechele, and I will all miss Buddy. Though he wasn't a fan of coming to the vet, he was very tolerant of our poking and prodding. He patiently taught us to follow the routines he preferred and was very sweet when we followed them. He was a cute little guy and we all loved him.

Mike/Lynn..Buddy is a beautiful boy and very lucky to have you as his forever family..a beautiful tribute for a great friend. It is never easy to lose a furry young or old and I have lost both. For whatever reason they are always taken from us too soon while leaving their forever pawprints within us. He is now healthy and playing with Oreo,Ralph and Eva while waiting for us to join them on the Bridge, they are gone from our site but never forgotten. I can send you my babies site if you wish to visit..take care..

Mike and Lynn, I am so sorry for the loss of your sweet little angel Buddy. You are right that you were meant to be together. Buddy has nothing but love and gratitude for the love and good care you gave him. Now that he has transitioned, he is without any pain or discomfort. I hope he meets up with my Murphy so they can play together in the warm sunshine.

Mike, Lynn: I'm sorry for your loss. Know that you are not alone. I, too, lost my baby, a female Beagle named River last March 21, 2017. Here's where my River is now: https://www.rainbowsbridge.com/residents/RIVER002/Resident.htm All of us here on this website have put up memorials of our beloved pets, so that their memories live on, and the comforting words we offer one another somehow ease the pain a little bit. In two days it will be Easter Sunday—a reminder that our beloved pets are not lost. We shall see them again, and this time our separation from them will come to an end.

So sorry for the loss, of your baby, it is always hard to lose a good friend. May your days of pain and adjustment be short, and your memories of your baby bring you peace and love. No more pain or suffering for our babies, only sunshine and lots of new friends. Soon you will all be together again and going over the rainbow together, which is where your lives’ really begin

I am so sorry to hear about your loss of Buddy. Please find comfort in knowing that Buddy is now at Rainbows Bridge and making lots of friends. Saying goodbye is never easy. I also lost my precious cat Spooky July 30th 2001 after 16 wonderful years with her. On January 11, 2013, I lost my faithful friend Hannah who was a beautiful blue tick hound dog. On August 2, 2013 another one of my beautiful cats, Sammi, a black and white tabby, went to Rainbows Bridge. April 9, 2014, Maci, my English Bulldog passed over to Rainbows Bridge. Maci and Hannah were best friends. On March 20, 2017 my sweet little calico Gabbi crossed over Rainbow's Bridge. I adopted her about a month after Spooky passed away and Gabbi also lived to be almost 16 years old. I am sure that Buddy and my babies have all become good friends. You can visit with Spooky at: http://www.rainbowsbridge.com/residents/Spook002/resident.HTM Take Care, Susan

Mike and Lynn- Buddy clearly enriched your life and taught you the meaning of unconditional love, patience, forgiveness and resilience. His life was brief but it was his lifetime to embrace and be cared for before journeying to Rainbow Bridge. I am so deeply sorry for the loss of a special friend, your little Pupala, who leaves behind memories and his teeny foot print etched upon your heart.
