Rae, I'm so sorry for your loss of your precious Calcifer. Your tribute is beautiful. My heart is with you as I had several guinea pigs also and your baby has met them at the Bridge. As you cherish and remember every memory and moment, please be comforted and know that your Calcifer is at the Rainbow Bridge meeting many new friends including my Bailey who crossed over to the Bridge on July 29, 2016. Rae...a beautiful tribute to a great friend. Cal is a beautiful boy. It is always hard to lose a furry young or old and I have lost both. But no matter what or for whatever reason they are always taken from us too soon leaving their forever pawprints within us. Be sure to know he is happy, healthy and playing with Oreo, Ralph and Eva while waiting for us to join them at the Bridge. I can send you my babies sites if you wish to visit..take care..

Dear Rae, I'm so sorry about the loss of your beloved Cal. I read your story and cried and smiled too. I could feel the love you have for Cal and I just know Cal knew that too. How could he not??? I'm so very sorry for your pain. I truly understand what you're going through and my heart breaks for you. (I had a best friend Loki in my life too. He was a sweet rat terrier.) I am so sorry to hear about your loss of Calcifer. Please find comfort in knowing that Calcifer is now at Rainbows Bridge and making lots of friends. Saying goodbye is never easy. I also lost my precious cat Spooky July 30th 2001 after 16 wonderful years with her. I have lost several babies since Spooky's passing. Hannah 1/11/13, Sammi 8/2/13,Maci 4/9/14, Gabbi 3/20/17, Zoe 1/3/18, Willow 6/4/18, and Shelby 6/12/18. I am sure that Calcifer and my babies have all become good friends. For sweet Cal, I know that during your lifetime you gave Rae much joy. Now I am wishing for you lots and lots of happiness playing in the meadows beyond the Rainbow Bridge.
