Alicia. When you visited my Little Star I made a promise to you to visit your pet. I do not break a promise to a pet parent, so I am here for you. What a beautiful fur baby you have in Carmen. (I will visit Gigi at a different time). Never forget all the unconditional love and memories they continue to give us. Your words are so special to your loved one. Alicia - what a beautiful fur baby Carmen was and reading your tribute to him, he was a special angel. You will always have him in your heart as he will always know you gave him a good home and loved him to the end. My deepest sympathies to you on your loss. I do know what it is like to lose a loved one, whether Human or one of our special, furry babies. Having lost quite a few of my own and doing dog rescue, it is never easy. From my house of 8 furr babies, to yours, we wish you the best. If you ever need to write please do so. I will be there for you. They never leave us, we just don't see them any more. Their spirit lives on.

I am so sorry for your loss. Your thoughts and your feelings are not strange or weird they are very normal. Only another dog lover can understand your feelings. We had Joshua cremated and it was comforting to some extent to bring him home to us but obviously not the same. The pain is still very real even though he has been gone since April. We have a new puppy and he is cute and nice but not Joshua. We are trying very hard not to compare them but it is very difficult. Tedy, the new pup, is very michevious and Joshua wasn't so some days it is hard but I know that we will adjust. I hope that you will one day find another baby that will put love in your life like Carmen did. Blessings........................
