I am so sorry to hear about your loss of Cody. Please find comfort in knowing that Cody is now at Rainbows Bridge and making lots of friends. Saying goodbye is never easy. I also lost my precious cat Spooky July 30th 2001 after 16 wonderful years with her. I have lost several babies since Spooky's passing. Hannah 1/11/13, Sammi 8/2/13,Maci 4/9/14, Gabbi 3/20/17, Zoe 1/3/18, Willow 6/4/18, and Shelby 6/12/18. I am sure that Cody and my babies have all become good friends. I am so sorry that you are suffering through the loss of your furbabies. I have many furbabies at the bridge and I still cry and long for them but there is comfort in knowing that they are in God's hands awaiting for a BEAUTIFUL reunion. I think its one of Gods miracles that the love we share finds its way to heaven and back. I truly believe that every life is precious, every life has meaning and every life has a destiny. No matter how big or how small. Animal and human. We all share this world and this life and our souls are connected. Feel whatever it is you need to feel for as long as you need to. Brea - I am so very sorry for the loss of your beautiful Cody. What a lovely memorial you have created for him. As a fur mama who has lost many babies, I know how hard this is for you. Please know that you are not alone at this difficult time. The wonderful thing about the Rainbow Bridge community is that you can share your stories (and your grief) with others who understand what you are going through, and somehow we help each other get through it day by day. It hurts so much to loose a baby, but for the love and joy that they bring us - I wouldn't change a thing. Again, I am so very sorry for your loss.

Dear Brea, I am glad you wrote such a sweet memorial for your Cody. Although I lean more toward being a dog lover, I do love all fur babies. My cousin is The Crazy Cat Lady and she has made me more understanding of the cat breed.
