DWJS..a beautiful tribute to a great friend. Cougar is a beautiful boy. It is always hard to lose a furry young or old and I have lost both. But no matter what or for whatever reason they are always taken from us too soon leaving their forever pawprints within us. I am so sorry to hear about your loss of Cougar. Please find comfort in knowing that Cougar is now at Rainbows Bridge and making lots of friends. Saying goodbye is never easy. I also lost my precious cat Spooky July 30th, 2001, after 16 wonderful years with her. I have lost several babies since Spooky's passing. Hannah 1/11/13, Sammi 8/2/13, Maci 4/9/14, Gabbi 3/20/17, Zoe 1/3/18, Willow 6/4/18, Shelby 6/12/18, Bear 11/17/19, Bella and Murphy who were both tragically poisoned on 06/18/20, and Firefly 12/20/22. My cat left us, tears were flowing down my face. You were beautiful, lovely and grateful. You were smart and were leading and showing what you like to do. You used cat language to communicate with me very well You were thankful for what I did, you always brought me what you hunted and were waiting outside the door. You knew the time you had to go soon, , so you were always sitting and watching me with your lovely eyes. The moment I woke up, I saw the tears holding in your eyes. I knew you didn’t want to left us, I tried myself to save you and I felt regret that I couldn’t. What could comfort my heart was you were not suffering from pain anymore, and you would cross the rainbow bridge to meet your sister in the heaven garden. You could still play with your sister and ate the treats together. I missed you as well as your sister, your paws printed in my heart. I wish you and your sister come and wait outside the door.

For sweet Cougar, I know that during your lifetime you gave your family much joy. Now I am wishing you lots and lots of happiness playing in the meadows beyond the Rainbow Bridge. From looking at your photos and reading what was written for and about you it is obvious that you came from a very warm and loving home. Cougar, I have a wonderful playmate for you. His name is Pedro and although he is a little dog he is adorable just like you. I know you two will be very good friends.
