Lauren...a beautiful tribute to a great friend. Donkey is a beautiful boy. It is always hard to lose a furry young or old and I have lost both. But no matter what or for whatever reason they are always taken from us too soon leaving their forever pawprints within us. Hi Laura, Looking at your photos and reading your Memorial I can tell tell you really did have a special bond with Mee Mee, he sounds like a very special little pussy cat. when we find one so special we are very lucky to have that but when time comes to let them go its so very much harder when you have such a strong bond.I had the same with my poodle Jasper, he was one in a million too, still grieving for him. So very hard for you losing MeeMee so close to Christmas and New Year. Yes the home definitely isn't the same after they go, mine went from being a home to being just a house. Don't fight the grief just go with it and let it take its course. My Jasper would have met Mee Mee at the Bridge hes very friendly. I am so sorry to hear about your loss of Donkey. Please find comfort in knowing that Donkey is now at Rainbows Bridge and making lots of friends. Saying goodbye is never easy. I also lost my precious cat Spooky July 30th 2001 after 16 wonderful years with her. I have lost several babies since Spooky's passing. Hannah 1/11/13, Sammi 8/2/13,Maci 4/9/14, Gabbi 3/20/17, Zoe 1/3/18, Willow 6/4/18, and Shelby 6/12/18. I am sure that Donkey and my babies have all become good friends. Just stopping by to let you know I visited Donkey's (Mee Mee) Rainbow Bridge memorial. How heartbreaking for you upon the loss of this precious baby! I'm sitting here with tears in my eyes. I can imagine the unconditional love you had for him during his life with you. My Teddy Bear entered the Rainbow Bridge memorial in June 2017. The angels are watching over all of our pets that have passed and we will see them again one day.

What a beautiful tribute!!! Hi, please take comfort in knowing your baby is at the Bridge waiting on you, running and playing with the others. Clearly God loves animals. He filled the Garden of Eden with them, preserved them during the Flood, and expressed concern about the cattle of Nineveh at the end of the book of Jonah. He even makes the surprising statement in Proverbs 12:10 that righteousness includes treating our animals well. God undoubtedly created animals to be lessons for us. God Bless..
