Such a sweet little person doggie!! It sounds like he just was your soulmate. At a time in your life too that was very crucial and important. Though gone a while they live on in our hearts forever and ever. I was wondering who would name such an adorable little dog Dork.....and I understand how you could not change it. He certainly was not a dork ...but things happen. Daryll would have suited him to a T. I am sorry you lost him so soon. You did not have enough time together. Now though he is happy and healthy and always around you. They do not ever leave us no matter how far or how long time goes on. I lost a very special Maine coon kitty in 2010 and still mourn him and talk to him all the time. He was my heart and though others have come and been dear to me, he has his own special place never to change. They become our angels and watch over us forever until we hug again. We are so blessed to have had them in our lives and to have them now guarding our lives. God bless you.

I am so sorry to hear about your loss of Dork. Please find comfort in knowing that Dork is now at Rainbows Bridge and making lots of friends. Saying goodbye is never easy. I also lost my precious cat Spooky July 30th 2001 after 16 wonderful years with her. I have lost several babies since Spooky's passing. Hannah 1/11/13, Sammi 8/2/13,Maci 4/9/14, Gabbi 3/20/17, Zoe 1/3/18, Willow 6/4/18, Shelby 6/12/18, Bear 11/17/19 and Bella and Murphy who were both tragically poisoned on 06/18/20. Dork, I hope by this time you have met my little dog Pedro and that the two of you have become the very best of friends. Pressy asked her family to visit doggie playmate Dork. She said she gives you special kitty love headbumps and taught you to send love signs on the wind so Mommy feels your loving presence with her and sweet kisses in gentle breezes. Pressy said you send love signs to tell her you're in Paradise meadow watching over her waiting until she comes for you one day to cross Rainbow Bridge to be together forever. Play happy meadow games with other furangels in beautiful Paradise but stop often to smile at Mommy so she feels the warmth of your love surround her and knows you miss her too and are with her for she loves you deeply and misses you so.
