Dear Judy & Steve, so sorry to read about the loss of your beloved Puppy, Doug. To have loved and been loved by a Cavalier, is a life-changing experience and sadly, you will feel your loss for a long time to come. We have two Cav boys on Rainbow, so we share your pain and even today, 6 and 7 years on, their loss is still felt and mourned. I know its bin a while sense doug passed but I cant stop thinking of doug Ive spent all my child hood spending the months years and days with him its hard to keep my tears in . step by step I walk threw every park and wish doug was here. I gess when someone special fallin from your heart takes your smiles away but doug will be in my heart forever.

Judy/Steve..a beautiful tribute to a great friend. Doug is a beautiful Boy. It is always hard to lose a furry young or old and I have lost both. But no matter what or for whatever reason they are always taken from us too soon leaving their forever pawprints within us. I am really sorry sweet Dougie passed away. I feel fortunate I was able to see Dougie a few weeks ago and say goodbye to him. I wish dogs like Dough lived way longer than they did, they have such an unconditional love and sweetness. Dougie was very special and pure. I am so sorry to hear about your loss of Doug. Please find comfort in knowing that Doug is now at Rainbows Bridge and making lots of friends. Saying goodbye is never easy. I also lost my precious cat Spooky July 30th, 2001, after 16 wonderful years with her. I have lost several babies since Spooky's passing. Hannah 1/11/13, Sammi 8/2/13, Maci 4/9/14, Gabbi 3/20/17, Zoe 1/3/18, Willow 6/4/18, Shelby 6/12/18, Bear 11/17/19, Bella and Murphy who were both tragically poisoned on 06/18/20, Firefly 12/20/22, and Zachary 02/19/23.
