Hello, pretty Duchess. We're sorry we've not visited sooner...we didn't know about you. Our Pressy is the little old gray lady kitty who helped you welcome Melody to Paradise meadow and chases bright rainbows with you. Pressy asked her family to visit playmate Duchess. She said she gives you special kitty love headbumps and taught you to send love signs on the wind so Mommy feels your loving presence with her and sweet kisses in gentle breezes. Pressy said you sent a love sign to tell her Melody arrived in Paradise meadow and is watching over her waiting with you until she comes for you one day to cross Rainbow Bridge to be together forever. Play meadow games with other furangels in beautiful Paradise but stop often to smile at Mommy so she feels the warmth of your love surround her and knows you miss her too and are with her for she loves you deeply and misses you so. My dear Edna....I still cry too whenever I visit Duchess at her Rainbow Bridge home. Duchess is so very special and I feel as though I knew her too. She will always roam through your home and look after you. And a part of her may be within Belle. God Bless!

"Those who don't know how to weep with their whole heart don't know how to laugh either." a quote from Golda Meir...Perhaps there's a hint in her words as to why we pet owners grieve so deeply, as our pets have brought such joy and laughter to our lives...Our whole hearts grieve when they are no longer by our side...May the warmth of the Rainbow surround and comfort you near the 1 year anniversary of the loss of your sweet baby. Another quote I read recently says THE SOUL WOULD HAVE NO RAINBOW IF THE EYES HAD NO TEARS...Please take that to mean that your tears for Duchess have not been in vain, oh no! For each tear has lovingly mixed with the Sunshine there and made the Rainbow shine ever so much brighter for little Duchess. Rest well in God's arms, little angel.

Dear Edna & family: I just was @ Duchess Residency, I am so sorry. She was a beautiful baby girl & so very loved. We have all been so blessed to have had these incredible furbabies in our lives, all too soon God calls them home. My little Simba & Duchess are probably very good friends by now. Simba sends me sunbeams when I need them, so I can understand what you wrote completely & know what you feel. Our babies patiently await our arrival one day.
