I am so sorry to hear about your loss of Ellie. Please find comfort in knowing that Ellie is now at Rainbows Bridge and making lots of friends. Saying goodbye is never easy. I also lost my precious cat Spooky July 30th 2001 after 16 wonderful years with her. On January 11, 2013, I lost my faithful friend Hannah who was a beautiful blue tick hound dog. On August 2, 2013 another one of my beautiful cats, Sammi, a black and white tabby, went to Rainbows Bridge. April 9, 2014, Maci, my English Bulldog passed over to Rainbows Bridge. Maci and Hannah were best friends. I am sure that Ellie and my babies have all become good friends. Michael & Janet, Your hearts must indeed be broken in half at the passing of such a wonderful little dog who has `ruled` home and hearth for 14 years - since she was a pup! It is very hard to adapt to their absence in this life and you will see her in everything - all the time. The shock of grief is so hard to bear even when we accept that age and illness must claim what we love most. Letting go is only in this life. In the next there will be no more painful parting - `Sorrow will be turned to joy - heartache gone for ever...`In the meantime this little life will soon pass and before we know it we will be re-united with our loved ones and it will seem that we have never been apart. Eternity has no time limits and a lifetime is like the blinking of an eye.
