Marilyn..a beautiful tribute to a great friend. Gizmo is a beautiful boy. It is always hard to lose a furry young or old and I have lost both. But no matter what or for whatever reason they are always taken from us too soon leaving their forever pawprints within us. Be sure to know he is happy, healthy and playing with Oreo, Ralph and Eva while waiting for us to join them at the Bridge. I can send you my babies sites if you wish to visit..take care..

I am so sorry to hear about your loss of Gizmo. Please find comfort in knowing that Gizmo is now at Rainbows Bridge and making lots of friends. Saying goodbye is never easy. I also lost my precious cat Spooky July 30th 2001 after 16 wonderful years with her. I have lost several babies since Spooky's passing. Hannah 1/11/13, Sammi 8/2/13,Maci 4/9/14, Gabbi 3/20/17, Zoe 1/3/18, Willow 6/4/18, Shelby 6/12/18, Bear 11/17/19 and Bella and Murphy who were both tragically poisoned on 06/18/20. Hi Marilyn. I am moved by your description of Gizmo. I can relate to how heartbreaking it is to have to say goodbye to such a beloved companion, family member. Our fur babies give us so much love and joy. You gave everything you could to Gizmo and he in turn gave you his all. It is my hope you find comfort and can help process your grief through the memories you and Gizmo created and shared together.

Such a beautiful and sweet kitty cat! I am so sorry Gizmo had to leave you. You had 10 good years which was not long enough but I am sure he tried to stay as long as he could. I too just lost my Cujo Kitty Kat from a similar condition. And I watched him try to stay so I know what that is like. Finally he just could not....The loss is devastating and pain so great. It just does not seem right that they should ever have to suffer anything! I talk and sing to him every day..it helps me connect and I feel a little better. But the loss is a raw yearning for him just to be back here with me...you too I am sure. Our babies are now our angels watching over us...I ask him all the time to come and visit...I keep hoping maybe in a dream...all his familiar places are so lonely & that is really tough...talk and sing your love and know your baby misses you just as much as you miss him. Fun to think that maybe Cujo & Gizmo will meet and run & jump together..warm hug to u & nose kiss to Gizmo.
