Brenda, I can't tell you how much your memorial to Greenly has touched my heart. I can feel your pain and share it. My bearded dragon was such a treasure in my life, and she began to show signs of illness around Christmas time and I lost her just last week. The emptiness is indescribable, but reading what you have written to Greenly helps me to know that I'm not alone. I can't imagine a day will go by that I don't think of Ember and how she created a place in my heart that can't be filled with anything else. Even in sadness though, I try to be grateful for the very brief time we had and smile at the moments and memories that this temporary separation can't take away. I know that our babies are healed and happy, flying free. Peace, Brenda. Please feel free to message me if you need someone to talk -- I know sometimes it's hard to find someone who wants to listen. <3 Christine I grew up with a ton of birds, including several Budgies, and I know how wonderful they are!

I am so sorry to hear about your loss of Greenly. Please find comfort in knowing that Greenly is now at Rainbows Bridge and making lots of friends. Saying goodbye is never easy. I also lost my precious cat Spooky July 30th 2001 after 16 wonderful years with her. I have lost several babies since Spooky's passing. Hannah 1/11/13, Sammi 8/2/13,Maci 4/9/14, Gabbi 3/20/17, Zoe 1/3/18, Willow 6/4/18, Shelby 6/12/18, Bear 11/17/19 and Bella and Murphy who were both tragically poisoned on 06/18/20. Brenda...a beautiful tribute to a great friend. Greenly is a beautiful boy. It is always hard to lose a furry young or old and I have lost both. But no matter what or for whatever reason they are always taken from us too soon leaving their forever pawprints within us. Be sure to know he is happy, healthy and playing with other feathered friends of his kind while waiting for us to join them at the Bridge.
