I am Gremlin's Mama. I brought him home when he was just 9 weeks old.I saw his beautiful face and it was love at first sight. He loved us,brought us sweetness,joy,compassion.Time has not healed me since he passed but I so look forward to seeing my baby and my kids baby again in heaven.Dear God, how I miss him! I am so sorry to hear about your loss of Gremlin. Please find comfort in knowing that Gremlin is now at Rainbows Bridge and making lots of friends. Saying goodbye is never easy. Matt, I am so sorry for your loss of your beloved Gremlin. What a good looking boy he was.. The death of a pet, a family member for many of us is never easy. In fact in some ways the experience of it can be harder and more devastating than losing a person. I know this first hand, I lost my Georgie, my 13 yr old fur baby back in September. I thought I would never get over his death, the devastation of it was deeper than anything I had felt before. Time does help. In time, I hope that you can think about Gremlin with love and unforgettable memories. In my opinion, our precious pets, (fur babies) are angels sent to us from God to love us and remind us what pure and unconditional love is. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. I will send good wishes that my kitty Georgie ( who often thought he was a doggie) will find Gremlin at the rainbow's bridge and lead him in a game of chase!! Hello Matt, I am so sorry for the lost of your beautiful Gremlin. King Solomon wrote in Ecclesiastes: "To everything there is a season and a time to every purpose under heaven…a time to weep and a time to laugh; a time to mourn and a time to dance…" The Zohar, the classic work of Kabbalah, describes the inner psyche of man as "crying being on one side of the heart and laughing on the other side of the heart." Yet, there is an even deeper understanding, in time we will learn to be joyous and broken hearted at the same time. Our fur babies where so beautiful and a gift of true joy & love, how can we not be happy when we reflect on there memory and begin to celebrate there life. Matt, I just visited Gremlin, she was soooooooooooo cute. What a nice long life she had. I know the pain and loss you feel in losing Gremlin, I lost my precious Bichon, Amor July 1, 2010, its getting easier, but I still miss her and think of her everyday. I hope that one day we will smile and not cry when we think of Gremlin and Amor, we'll remember all the love and joy they gave us so freely. Take care, God bless.
