I am so sorry to hear about your loss of Griffey. Please find comfort in knowing that Griffey is now at Rainbows Bridge and making lots of friends. Saying goodbye is never easy. I also lost my precious cat Spooky July 30th 2001 after 16 wonderful years with her. On January 11, 2013, I lost my faithful friend Hannah who was a beautiful blue tick hound dog. On August 2, 2013 another one of my beautiful cats, Sammi, a black and white tabby, went to Rainbows Bridge. Spooky never met Hannah or Sammi but I am sure that Spooky greeted Hannah and Sammi at the bridge. I am sure that Griffey, Spooky, Hannah, and Sammi have all become good friends. Karen/Bob...Griffey is a beautiful boy.It is never easy to lose a furry young or old and I have lost both.For whatever reason they are always taken from us too soon while leaving their forever pawprints within us. Dear Karen and Bob I'm sorry for the loss of your Griffey. What a good looking guy. I lost my Finnbar last December. I understand how hard it is to say goodbye. When its time you'll be together again just as it should be. Until then Griffey is waiting for you at the bridge happy and healthy. There are new places to explore so much space to run like the wind all the good treats and when he needs a break,meadows to lie in the sun. He's having a ball with his new friends all the while still keeping an eye on you. I hope he's met Finn by now. He's a friendly little cat but he's scrappy and he can catch. My Sidney was on the bridge to welcome Griffey to his new home. They are chasing sunbeams and telling "tails" of their great lives. I have asked them to send you a rainbow, a upside down smile. When you miss Griffey the most, listen to your heart, his love is there.
