Dear Hank, it’s been a little over a month since we lost you. The pain has not gone away or diminished. We miss you terribly and the tears flow freely at your house. We tried our best to get you the help you needed. We took you to the hospital hoping they could help. We did not abandoned you although you may have felt that way. They would not let us see you. We didn’t get to hold you. We didn’t get to tell you we love you. And we didn’t get to say good by. I miss you buddy….our lives are not the same without you.

Having been a dog owner/lover all my life, I know the deep heartache we feel when we lose one so precious to us. I am so sorry to hear about your loss of Hank. Please find comfort in knowing that Hank is now at Rainbows Bridge and making lots of friends. Saying goodbye is never easy. I also lost my precious cat Spooky July 30th 2001 after 16 wonderful years with her. I have lost several babies since Spooky's passing. Hannah 1/11/13, Sammi 8/2/13,Maci 4/9/14, Gabbi 3/20/17, Zoe 1/3/18, Willow 6/4/18, Shelby 6/12/18, Bear 11/17/19 and Bella and Murphy who were both tragically poisoned on 06/18/20. For sweet Hank, I know that during your lifetime you gave Patricia much joy. Now I am wishing you lots and lots of happiness playing in the meadows beyond the Rainbow Bridge. From looking at your photo and at the beautiful residency that Patricia created just for you it is obvious that you came from a very warm and loving home. Hank, I have a wonderful playmate for you. His name is Pedro and he is adorable just like you. I know you two will be very good friends. For Patricia, I just visited your Hank's Rainbows Bridge residency and wanted to express my deepest sympathy for the loss of your precious Fur Angel.
