Hello Amy, As time passes and you begin to reflect on memories of your beautiful Hershie. King Solomon wrote in Ecclesiastes: "To everything there is a season and a time to every purpose under heaven…a time to weep and a time to laugh; a time to mourn and a time to dance…" The Zohar, the classic work of Kabbalah, describes the inner psyche of man as "crying being on one side of the heart and laughing on the other side of the heart." Yet, there is an even deeper understanding, we will learn to be joyous and broken hearted at the same time. Our fur babies where so beautiful and a gift of true joy & love, how can we not be happy when we reflect on their memory and begin to celebrate their life. Dear Amy, My prayers are with you on the passing of your precious Hershie. He was such a beautiful Boy and obviously deeply loved. It is not easy losing our loving companions. I completely understand the pain and grief that you are experiencing and you are not alone. Would like to share with you this poem that was read during Princess Diana's Funeral. Amy..Hershey is a beautiful boy...a beautiful tribute for a great friend.It is never easy to lose a furry young or old and I have lost both.For whatever reason they are always taken from us too soon while leaving their forever pawprints within us. He is now healthy and playing with Oreo,Ralph and Eva while waiting for us to join them on the Bridge.I can send you my babies site if you wish to visit..take care.. and just remember, he will always remember you..

I am so sorry to hear about your loss of Hershie. Please find comfort in knowing that Hershie is now at Rainbows Bridge and making lots of friends. Saying goodbye is never easy. I also lost my precious cat Spooky July 30th 2001 after 16 wonderful years with her. On January 11, 2013, I lost my faithful friend Hannah who was a beautiful blue tick hound dog. On August 2, 2013 another one of my beautiful cats, Sammi, a black and white tabby, went to Rainbows Bridge. April 9, 2014, Maci, my English Bulldog passed over to Rainbows Bridge. Maci and Hannah were best friends. I am sure that Hershie and my babies have all become good friends. I lost my precious Paco in January. I had him 13 wonderful years. I understand your loss. It feels like no other pain. They become such a important part of your life. I still find myself looking for him or thinking I have kicked him when I move a certain way in bed. I do know he will be waiting for me at the Rainbow Bridge. Dear Amy I'm sorry for the loss of your Hershie.What a handsome guy. I lost my Finnbar December 2012.I understand how hard it is to say goodbye.When its time you'll be together again just as it should be.Until then Hershie is waiting for you at Rainbowsbridge happy and healthy.There are new places to explore so much space to run like the wind all the good treats and when he needs a break,meadows to lie in the sun.He's having a ball with his new friends all the while still keeping an eye on you.I hope he's met Finn by now.He's a friendly little cat but he's scrappy and he can catch. Hershie I am sorry for your loss. Amy loves you and misses you very much. My Perseus went to Rainbow Bridge when he was 14. There are no more aches or pains. No rain only sunshine. Running and playing all day with the other furbabies. One day we will join them for all eternity at Rainbow Bridge.
