What an adorable kitty cat! Looks devilish! and fun! I am so sorry for your loss. It is so hard to understand how they can get sick and go so fast. I too have experienced that and it just does not make sense. The love we give them and they give us is not to be found anywhere else. It is like having an arm cut off when they are gone. I just lost my furry angel and I beg God every day to just bring him back. It is so empty without him and so devoid of anything valuable. That pain is how we honor them but it is not easy. We stop their suffering and ours begins. Know that Homer is better now and will be happy soon. He misses you as much as you miss him. They have to adjust just as we do. But it is not easy. Let your memories flood your heart and talk to him. I talk to my Cujee every day and I sing his fav song. I pray he hears. You can too...it makes you feel connected. It helps with the sorrow. Be well and talk and sing your love and thanks to him everyday.

I am so sorry to hear about your loss of Homer. Please find comfort in knowing that Homer is now at Rainbows Bridge and making lots of friends. Saying goodbye is never easy. I also lost my precious cat Spooky July 30th 2001 after 16 wonderful years with her. I have lost several babies since Spooky's passing. Hannah 1/11/13, Sammi 8/2/13,Maci 4/9/14, Gabbi 3/20/17, Zoe 1/3/18, Willow 6/4/18, Shelby 6/12/18, Bear 11/17/19 and Bella and Murphy who were both tragically poisoned on 06/18/20.
