I am so sorry to hear about your loss of Jake. Please find comfort in knowing that Jake is now at Rainbows Bridge and making lots of friends. Saying goodbye is never easy. I also lost my precious cat Spooky July 30th 2001 after 16 wonderful years with her. I am sure that Jake and Spooky have become good friends. You can visit with Spooky at: http://www.rainbowsbridge.com/residents/Spook002/resident.HTM Take Care, Susan

Dear Ron & MaryAnn: We just visited your beautiful Jake's memorial page and what a wonderful fur baby he is! Just like our precious boy, Jake, who left us on 2/28/11. Our tears have not stopped since then--we are at a loss right now. Only God can give us the comfort we must have, but we are grateful to the many lovely people who are so supportive because we have all experienced the pain of losing our loved ones. Please visit our Jake's page, it will be one of the last ones under J. May God bless you.

My deepest sympathies to you and your family on your loss. I do know what it is like to lose a loved one, whether Human or one of our special, furry babies. Having lost quite a few of my own and doing dog rescue, it is never easy. From my house of 8 furr babies, to yours, we wish you the best. If you ever need to write please do so. I will be there for you. They never leave us, we just don't see them any more. Their spirit lives on.

Jake was lucky to have you as his companion as all of our furry friends are. One of my favorite "Jake" stories is when you were going out on the patio and Jake was on the upper deck and you got peed on! (:

your baby looks very happy and is such a beautifull baby. Goodbye hurts so much, we feel your pain. No matter how long they have been gone their love is always with us. Our Punky passed on Feb. 2, 2010 think of your baby with smiles instead of tears and it will feel as their little soul has left you with a Rainbow in your heart. Were very sorry for your loss but as we know, your angle is in heaven right now feeling no pain, your sweet baby is happy and is playing with all the other babies who has left us. In their eyes you saw a loving soul, and in your heart you knew you'd never have a finer friend. Please feel free to go to our Punkys place at Rainbow bridge. I will ask Punky to find your sweet baby so they can run and play together. Just remember, the day your baby left you and the time on earth was through, God then picked your sweet baby up and he said, "your home now, I welcome" you. http://rainbowsbridge.com/residents/punky004/resident.htm

Jake, What a precious baby you were, always so loyal and loving. You taught and gave your family so much that they now know the true meaning of unconditional love. They long for the day to be able to hold you and to look into your eyes again. I know just how grateful you are for all of love and care in which they provided you. They miss you baby, so very much. I know that you don't want them to be sad for too long, but instead, be happy. For you are happy, content at peace and have been surrounded by so many others who also love and adore you, including my Shayna Girl, Leche and Si. I extend my deepest condolences to you for the loss of Jake. I know just how painful it is to have lost your angel, for, I too, lost mine. Please vist my Shayna Girl at: http://rainbowsbridge.com/residents/SHAYN005/Resident.htm. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Until we are with our babies again. Shayna, Leche and Si's mommy, Lisa

Jake - You were quite the sport and I bet you really enjoyed family outings and being outdoors! Send mom and dad some signs, kisses from the Rainbow to let them know that you are safe, happy, healthy and will have many friends. Let Ron and Mary Ann know that God has appointed you to be the guardian, protector to watch over them until they are called to the Bridge to join you one day. I will tell my Brande to find you and play with you. To Ron and Mary Ann - I send my deepest regrets to you over the loss of Jake. I too lost my soulmate not long ago, see Brande at http://www.rainbowbridge.com/residents/BRAND167/Resident.htm - We know that God has promised we will be with our babies again one day. I leave this quote with you, "heaven is the only place where all the dogs and cats you have ever loved will come running to meet you." Author Unknown

My sincere sympathy on the loss of your Jake. I know that your heart is broken right now and raw with grief. With time it gets easier - never forgetting, but easier. May the memories you have give you comfort at this most difficult time.

I was wondering if the Lake Tapawingo is at Blue Springs, MO. I moved to California from Blue Springs, MO a few years ago after my husband passed away. I am real familiar with the Kansas City suburb areas. Jake is a beautiful fur baby and I know the heartbreak you feel in his loss. You have my deepest sympathy. Some day we will be together with our beloved fur babies forever. In the meantime, we have beautiful memories.
