I am so sorry to hear about your loss of Jake. Please find comfort in knowing that Jake is now at Rainbows Bridge and making lots of friends. Saying goodbye is never easy. I also lost my precious cat Spooky July 30th 2001 after 16 wonderful years with her. Just recently on January 11, 2013, I lost my faithful friend Hannah who was a beautiful blue tick hound dog. Spooky never met Hannah but I am sure Spooky greeted Hannah at the bridge. I am sure that Jake, Spooky, and Hannah have become good friends. Steve..Jake is a beautiful boy with great smile.It is never easy to lose a furry young or old and I have lost both.For whatever reason they are always taken from us too soon while leaving their forever pawprints within us.Jake is now healthy and playing with Oreo,Ralph and Eva while waiting for us to jon them on the Bridge.I can send you my babies sites if you wish to visit..take care..

Steve, so sorry for your loss. Saying goodbye is never easy.....those little furry companions definitely steal our hearts and souls. They are so precious and are truly one of God's greatest gifts. Take comfort in that their love for us goes on as our love for them does for eternity. I am sure that the memories of this precious member will be with you always. We also lost our adorable little pug, Nikki Mae, who was the light of our lives for more than 14 wonderful years. My heart goes out to you at Jake's crossing over the bridge. Both of my furbabies have crossed over in just a little over two years. The tears still flow freely when I think of them. It becomes somewhat easier, but our love for them is so great and binding that they take a piece of our hearts with them. I know that my God would not have made a Heaven that would not have a place for my Willy and Daniel. I live for the day that they will purr in my arms again. I know that they were there to greet Jake. I hope that he enjoys the sunlight as much as my boys did. For I believe that there is great joy and freedom there. I know that they are our guardian angels and watch over us, jumping and running in the beautiful meadows. May your heart begin to heal and know peace, and may you begin to find bittersweet joy in the wonderful memories of your beloved furbaby. I have left an angel for Jake. Steve, I am so sorry for the loss of your beautiful Jake. Jake was sent to you by our Lord the Almighty as a sign of his love for you. These furry packages of love deliver to us such special fellowship, and companionship. There is nothing stronger than the bond that a man or a woman has for their fur-baby. They give us the strength to face the daily human/earthly dealings. I just lost Ginger the love of my life; my leading lady of 17 years, this past fall. Grieving is a natural response of having to send them on their final journey to eternal happiness. From looking at the beautiful residency you created for Jake it is obvious that he came from a very warm and loving home.
