I am so sorry to hear about your loss of Jessie. Please find comfort in knowing that Jessie is now at Rainbows Bridge and making lots of friends. Saying goodbye is never easy. Betty, whats words of love! I am so very sorry that Jessie had to leave to cross the bridge. They are not lost, just waiting for us. One of my best friends and companion of 16 years, Willy, went to the bridge in January. My tears still flow when I think of him. I know though, that she and Willy are probably playing in the meadows, running and jumping now. I know Willy loved the sunshine and I hope that she does too. I truly believe that God would not have made a Heaven without our beloved companions there to meet us. I have left an extra angel to look over Jessie, as they are our special angels watching over us. I hope that your pain begins to turn to peace that fills your heart with nothing but wonderful memories. They make the days become a little less heartbreaking knowing that their hearts are always with ours. God Bless You until we all meet again. Hello Betty, I am so sorry for the lost of your beautiful Jessie. King Solomon wrote in Ecclesiastes: "To everything there is a season and a time to every purpose under heaven…a time to weep and a time to laugh; a time to mourn and a time to dance…" The Zohar, the classic work of Kabbalah, describes the inner psyche of man as "crying being on one side of the heart and laughing on the other side of the heart." Yet, there is an even deeper understanding, in time we will learn to be joyous and broken hearted at the same time. Our fur babies where so beautiful and a gift of true joy & love, how can we not be happy when we reflect on there memory and begin to celebrate there life. My deepest sympathies to you on your loss. I do know what it is like to lose a loved one, whether Human or one of our special, furry babies.
