Yaqi..a beautiful tribute to a great friend. Sophie is a beautiful girl. It is always hard to lose a furry young or old and I have lost both. But no matter what or for whatever reason they are always taken from us too soon leaving their forever pawprints within us. I am so sorry to hear about your loss of Kyon. Please find comfort in knowing that Kyon is now at Rainbows Bridge and making lots of friends. Saying goodbye is never easy. I also lost my precious cat Spooky July 30th, 2001, after 16 wonderful years with her. I have lost several babies since Spooky's passing. Hannah 1/11/13, Sammi 8/2/13, Maci 4/9/14, Gabbi 3/20/17, Zoe 1/3/18, Willow 6/4/18, Shelby 6/12/18, Bear 11/17/19, Bella and Murphy who were both tragically poisoned on 06/18/20, Firefly 12/20/22, and Zachary 02/19/23. My Grandpa asked me to welcome you at Paradise meadow's gates and be your Bridge mommy to care for you until Mommy comes for you one day. These other little furangels with me are Puppy, Tobey, and Mac. I care for them too. They are your special playmates. I cover you all at night to cuddle together under soft meadow blankeys made with the love and tears of your sad furparents. You are all still held close by them. This is your own blankey from Mommy. I"ll teach you to send love signs to her on the wind so she knows you are with her always when gentle breezes blow. I'll give you angel wing lessons to visit her in her dreams. Beautiful little one, run and play meadow games in forever sunshine with many playmates. I and the other old lady kitties watch over you and make sure you are never lonely though you miss Mommy.
